Last updated: June 10, 2026

Step Totals is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that reads Apple Health step count and walking or running distance data so you can view daily totals and totals across a selected date range. This policy also covers the app's widgets and watch-face complications.

Information Step Totals accesses

How the data is used

Step Totals uses this data only to display fitness summaries in the app, its widgets, and its watch-face complications. The app does not use Health data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or resale.

Data collection and sharing

Step Totals does not require an account. The app does not collect your Health data on a remote server, does not sell your data, and does not share Health data with third parties.

Data retention

Step Totals reads Apple Health data from your device to calculate summaries. Health data stays on your device and is not stored by the developer on external systems.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke Health access at any time through Apple Health or iPhone Settings. If access is revoked, Step Totals will no longer be able to show Health-based summaries.

Medical disclaimer

Step Totals is a general fitness utility and is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
