How It Works
Simple input, direct HealthKit save.
Walking Desk Workouts is meant for people who accumulate real walking time at a desk but
still need a clean record in Apple Health. There is no account setup, sync service, or
export flow. You open the app, enter the treadmill numbers, and save.
What you enter
Steps, distance in miles, calories, and workout duration from your treadmill display.
What the app saves
A walking workout plus Health samples for step count, walking or running distance, and
active energy burned.
What the app reads
Step count and walking or running distance totals so it can show your recent daily history.
What it does not do
No login, no cloud account, no advertising SDKs, and no analytics tracking.

Walking Desk Workouts does not require an account and does not collect personal information
for the developer.
Data collection
The app does not operate a user account system, does not include third-party advertising, and
does not use analytics SDKs to profile or track you.
Health data access
If you grant Apple Health permission, the app reads step count and walking or running
distance so it can show your recent daily totals.
If you choose to save a session, the app writes step count, walking or running distance,
active energy burned, and a walking workout to Apple Health based on the values you entered.
Where data is stored
Health data used by the app stays within Apple Health and on your device or your Apple
account's Health sync systems, subject to Apple's platform behavior and settings. The
developer does not receive a copy of that Health data through this app.
Sharing
The app does not sell your data and does not share your personal or Health data with external
advertisers or data brokers.
Your choices
You can deny or revoke Health access at any time in Apple's Health and Settings controls. If
access is not granted, the app cannot read recent totals or save workout entries to Apple
Health.
